The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas offers a 5-week long summer program for high-school students (grades 9-12). Participants can choose from three camps: Camp 1: Mathematical Adventures! Covers Logic and Reasoning, Set Theory and Numbers, relations and functions, advanced concepts, Geometry (Foundations of Geometric Reasoning), Strategy Problems and Capstone Challenge Problems, and Combinatorics (Basic Concepts and Specialized Problem Solving). Camp 2: SAT Summer Intensive Program. Focuses on Foundations of Algebra (Concepts, Assessments and applications), Advanced Math (Quadratics and Polynomials, Exponential functions, problem solving and real world applications), Statistics (Problem Solving and Data analytics), Mathematical Modeling, reasoning and applications, Geometry, and Exam Prep and Review. Camp 3: Discover the Math Behind Artificial Intelligence! Includes Basic Concepts, Statistical data analyses in understanding AI, Predictive Modeling Classification and Decision Making in AI, Introduction to AI Models, Capstone Projects and Presentation toolkit. The program is conducted by exceptional, award-winning professors and active researchers, including three Regents Outstanding Teaching Award Holders.
