Taste of India - San Antonio opened its doors in 2011, owned and operated by local residents, with the intent to bring the diverse cuisine of Northern India to the San Antonio area. Chef Lakhi, with over 20 years of experience, ensures everything is fresh and made from scratch, aiming to create Indian food that leaves everlasting memories. Rated best by customers and news channels alike, Taste of India is committed to delicious and affordable Indian dishes, along with excellent service, and has been serving the community for 12 years. The restaurant offers daily Lunch Thali specials Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Lunch hours are Monday-Saturday from 11:00 AM - 2:30 PM, and dinner hours are Monday-Saturday from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM, as the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Current holiday specials include Chicken Tikka Masala (buy one, get the second 50% off) and a Lunch Thali Special (one complimentary lunch for every 6 guests) valid November 24 – December 31, 2025.
