Shri Ganesha Gayathri Temple of Greater Chicago

This unique South Indian style temple, designed by a Kanchi sthapathi, offers worship of deities like Kamakshi Ambal and Ekambareshwarar in strict conformance with agama sastra. It is the first temple in the USA with Sri Gayathri Matha as a prominent deity and houses original black stone deities blessed by Kanchi Acharya. The temple is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving the Greater Chicago area.
